BOXING star Josh Taylor was among the winners at the Team Scotland Scottish Sports Awards last night (Thursday).
Taylor, from Prestonpans, won Moment of the Year for his WBC Silver super lightweight title win and Commonwealth super lightweight title defence in Glasgow in July.
The 26-year-old stopped Englishman Ohara Davies in the seventh round at the Braehead Arena to add the WBC belt to his Commonwealth title.
Taylor beat sprinter Laura Muir, the Scotland rugby team, swimmers Stephen Milne & Duncan Scott and footballer Leigh Griffiths, among others, to the award.
Taylor and girlfriend Danielle Murphy attended the awards, and Murphy posted the below picture on her Twitter page.
