JOSH Taylor is "confident and ready" ahead of his WBC Silver super lightweight title defence in Edinburgh in November.
Speaking to the Courier this afternoon as details of the fight were revealed at a press conference in the Scottish capital, Prestonpans star Taylor said he is "100 per cent confident" of victory in the battle.
Taylor will face former IBF world champion Miguel Vazquez at the Royal Highland Centre on November 11.
The Tartan Tornado told Courier Sport: "He (Vazquez)is a very good fighter and it's a big step up for me.
"I've never been in the ring with anyone of his quality but I always back my ability and I'm looking forward to putting on a show and retaining the belt."
