POLICE investigating reports of cattle rustling in East Lothian say they are now treating the incident as a case of missing cows.
Officers were called in after 13 bullocks disappeared from a secure barn at Standingstone Farm, on the outskirts of Haddington.

They were later found a short distance away.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland appeared for help solving the mysterious disappearance.
They said: "Police in East Lothian were alerted to a number of bullocks that were reported missing from a farm in Haddington.
"The animals were found a short distance away and enquiries are ongoing into establishing the circumstances surrounding this incident.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1556."
