AN INVESTIGATION is under way after more than a dozen cows were stolen from a farm, near Haddington.
The 13 bullocks, which have since been recovered, were taken from a secure barn within the grounds of Standingstone Farm, to the east of the town.
The incident occurred between 4.30pm on Monday and 9am the following day.
Police recovered the animals on Wednesday morning and officers believe a vehicle is likely to have been used in the theft.
Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1556 of July 11.
