PRESTON Athletic were the only East Lothian side to enjoy that winning feeling over the weekend.

Stevie McLeish’s men ran out 4-1 winners away to Dundonald Bluebell on Saturday.

Neither Dunbar United nor Ormiston Primrose had a scheduled fixture and Musselburgh Athletic joined them on the sidelines when their Scottish Cup clash with Hill of Beath Hawthorn was postponed.

That left Tranent, who went down 2-1 at Clydebank, and Haddington Athletic, who lost 4-1 at Thornton Hibs.

Marc Forsyth opened the scoring for Preston at Moorside Park and the points looked destined for East Lothian when Nandom Domyil scored twice before half time.

Dundonald pulled one back with about 20 minutes left to play but Domyil completed his hat-trick to seal the win.

Meanwhile, at Clydebank, the hosts held a 2-0 lead at the half time interval.

Jamie McMurdo pulled one back with 71 minutes on the clock but the visitors could not find a leveller.

Finally, Haddington went down to a disappointing defeat at Memorial Park in Fife.

Trailing 2-0 at the break, the hosts doubled their advantage before a Tom Davies consolation.
