Haddington Athletic only East Lothian side to pick up win

Haddington Athletic were the only East Lothian team to progress to the third round as they defeated Lanark United.

However, there were defeats for Dunbar United, Musselburgh Athletic, Ormiston Primrose, Preston Athletic and Tranent.

Seamus Russell had opened the scoring for Haddington away to Lanark United, who responded from the penalty spot.

Haddington pulled away in the second half though.

Ryan Cameron netted a penalty before Conor Power scored either side of a Tom Davies effort.

Elsewhere, Darvel came through against Dunbar thanks to a first half double.

Tranent also saw their bid to lift the trophy ended as they went down 1-0 away to Kirkintilloch Rob Roy.

Preston Athletic were edged out 1-0 by Albion Rovers and Ormiston Primrose went down 3-0 away to Cowdenbeath Central.

Finally, Musselburgh Athletic went down 2-1 at home to Cowdenbeath.

The visitors had opened the scoring early in the second half before Owen Hastie pulled Musselburgh level.

Unfortunately, Cowdenbeath found a winner with just seconds remaining.
