A STOPPAGE time strike denied Ormiston Primrose a point last night (Tuesday).

The county side played more than an hour against Linton Hotspur with 10-men after Harry McLaren was sent off in the first half.

Despite that setback, they took the lead early in the second half through Ross Aitken.

The visitors found an equaliser with 20 minutes left and would go on to break Ormiston hearts with a late, late winner.

The result leaves Ormiston Primrose sixth in the East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL) Second Division Conference South-East.
