IT WAS a case of “the day the rain didn’t come” at Cowdenbeath Racewall on Saturday, with the dark clouds overhead never breaking, which allowed the drivers to race on a dry track throughout the evening.

After a few difficult race meetings where the Dunbar racer has picked up more than her fair share of damage, she will have been pleased to have finished all three of her races.
This weekend is the first major weekend of the season at the Racewall, with the Saloon Stock Car British Championship and Raymond Gunn Tribute races the feature events.
Defending champion Luke Dorling will be keen to defend his title and leads the visiting interest.
The gates open at 1.30pm this afternoon (Saturday), with the first race under way at 5pm.
Tomorrow afternoon (Sunday), the action commences at 1pm.
