Dunbar United v Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts

League Cup - First Round

Kick-off 7.45pm

FIFTH placed Dunbar United take on 12th placed Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts in an all East of Scotland Football League Premier Division affair.

The two sides were due to meet earlier this month but saw the game fall foul of the weather.

Instead, they meet tonight (Tuesday) with both sides looking to make it through to the second round of the competition.

It is the third meeting of the season for the two clubs, who have already contested their league fixtures.

On both occasions, it was the home side who won.

The Fife team won 2-1 in August but it was Dunbar celebrating a 4-0 triumph in East Lothian last month.

Lowland League Cup

Kick-off 7.45pm

AN INTRIGUING Lowland League Cup tie sees third travel to fifth at Foresters Park.

Cumbernauld Colts have enjoyed an impressive campaign, losing just five league games out of 28.

That has been enough to put them in with a good shout of finishing best of the rest behind East Kilbride.

Tranent, meanwhile, have played one game fewer than their visitors and are keen to win silverware.

Tranent were 5-1 winners at Broadwood Stadium earlier in the season and would undoubtedly welcome more of the same.
