TRANENT can move up the Scottish Lowland Football League (SLFL) table tonight (Tuesday) with a win over Linlithgow Rose.
Ian Little’s men welcome their West Lothian rivals to Foresters Park in the only contest played this evening.
The Belters, who were 3-0 winners over Kilwinning Rangers in the South of Scotland Challenge Cup at the weekend, have games in hand over each of the four teams above them in the league.
Three points would be enough to move them above Heart of Midlothian B and to within two points of Cumbernauld Colts and Bo’ness United, who share second spot.
Linlithgow Rose, promoted from the East of Scotland Football League last year, sit seventh in the standings.
A win for the visitors would put them level on points with Celtic B.
Tranent and Linlithgow Rose are yet to meet this campaign and the game kicks off at 7.45pm.
