Plenty has changed since then and Tranent will be looking to reach the last four of the competition.

Their visitors, however, come into the game full of confidence as they look for promotion to the top flight of the WoSFL.

Haddington Athletic v Luncarty

League Cup First Round

Kick-off 2.30pm

IT WAS just last month that Haddington Athletic and Luncarty faced off against each other in the EoSFL Premier Division.

Luncarty picked up the win on that occasion as Haddington's poor recent run continued.

A draw away to Tynecastle last weekend will hopefully have buoyed the Millfield men who will be hoping to progress to the second round of the competition.

Away from home, they will be hoping that Harthill Royal's ground is playable for an interesting looking cup contest.

Ormiston sit in the bottom three of the Second Division while Harthill sit in the top three of the tier below.

League Cup First Round

Kick-off 2.30pm

THIRD Division Lochgelly Albert will be looking to spring a surprise against in-form Musselburgh Athletic.

The Olivebank outfit are yet to taste defeat in 2024 and they will be favourites to keep that run going in Fife.

A failure to apply themselves correctly, however, could lead to a cup upset, which they will be determined to avoid.

Newburgh Juniors v Preston Athletic

League Cup First Round

Kick-off 2.30pm

PRESTON Athletic venture over the Forth looking to bounce back from a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Dunipace.

Hosts Newburgh would seem to provide ideal opposition as they sit bottom of the Second Division with two wins from 18 league games.

Preston Athletic have shown they are capable of producing impressive wins on their day and will be looking for a safe passage into the second round.
