MUSSELBURGH Athletic are aiming to reach the quarter-finals of the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup this evening (Wednesday).
The Olivebank side travel to University of Stirling in the last 16 of the competition.
Liam Burns and his team finally overcame Harthill Royal earlier this month after the tie had been repeatedly postponed.
A hat-trick from recent signing Jonny Court alongside strikes from Jordan Smith, Nathan Evans and Craig Stevenson ensured a 6-0 win and set up the contest with the Lowland League opposition.
The university side sit seventh in the table but lost 2-0 at home to Berwick Rangers at the weekend.
The winners will go on to face either Dundonald Bluebell, who overcame Haddington Athletic in the previous round, or Dunbar United.
That game is due to be played on Tuesday with the quarter-final to be contested on February 27.
Tonight’s game kicks off at 7.45pm.
