SCOTLAND had to settle for silver for the second time after coming up agonisingly short against Australia at the World Bowls Championships.
The men's fours, featuring East Lothian's Alex Marshall and Derek Oliver, had made it through to the final of the competition in Australia.
However, they came unstuck against the hosts, who won 12-10.

Marshall and Oliver, who were joined by Paul Foster and Jason Banks, had previously reached the final of the men's triples.
On that occasion, it was Australia who picked up the win as well.
