DRAWS have been made for the World Bowls Championships in Australia at the end of next month.
East Lothian will provide two bowlers for both the men’s triples and fours for the competition, which gets under way on August 28.
Derek Oliver and Alex Marshall have been named in the squad for the competition in Queensland.
In the triples, Oliver and Marshall will be joined by Paul Foster as they open their campaign against Malta.
Scotland will also face the Cook Islands, Niue, Philippines, Japan, Wales and Macao China.
Meanwhile, Oliver, Marshall and Foster will be joined by Jason Banks to take on Argentina in the first fixture of the men’s fours.
They will also face England, Samoa, France, Hong Kong China, Thailand and Canada.
