RORY Darge will put five months of injury behind when he lines up for Glasgow Warriors tomorrow (Saturday).
The Scottish rugby star suffered a serious ankle injury and was stretchered off during his club side’s 52-24 win over Cardiff in September.
The injury meant the flanker missed the Six Nations, having made his debut in the competition 12 months ago.
Now, he is set to make his first appearance of 2023 when Glasgow play the Emirates Lions in South Africa.
The game kicks off at 2.15pm (UK time) and will see Darge, of Aberlady, make his 23rd appearance for Glasgow since moving from Edinburgh Rugby.
Franco Smith, Glasgow head coach, said: “Tomorrow is an opportunity for us to show the progression we have made across this season so far.
“To be a great team you need to be a great squad, and the 23 players we have selected know that they represent everyone at this club when they run out onto the field.”
