SUNDAY’S amateur teams scored 23 goals as all five of the county’s sides picked up victories.

Haddington Town, Tranent, The Riverside Vics, Musselburgh United and Wallyford Bluebell all enjoyed wins.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, three county sides – Longniddry Villa, Dunbar Athletic and Tranent Foresters – were celebrating wins.

Longniddry Villa had trailed 2-0 at the break but a double from Liam Currie and a John Brash strike turned the game on its head.

A double from Jake Johnstone and a strike from Matt Brady gave Dunbar a 3-1 win over Loganlea United at Hallhill but Edinburgh Harps proved too strong and picked up a 3-0 win over Pencaitland.

Meanwhile, in Division Two, Tranent Foresters put on a five-star showing in West Lothian.

Jack Lyall scored a double against West Lothian Warriors while Sean Brown, Danny Worobec and Owen Reid all found the net in the 5-2 win.

Robert Nevison scored for Garry O’Connor FA as they were edged out 2-1 by Corstorphine Dynamo Colts.

It has been a busy week for the amateur teams, with a number also playing last midweek and earlier this week.

Last Wednesday, Tranent picked up their first win of the season in style with a 7-1 demolition of Danderhall Miners.

The visitors had netted a first minute penalty but Tranent responded in fine fashion with David McIntosh scoring a hat-trick, and Anton McKillop, Adam Young, Callum Kerr and John Ferguson all finding the net.

Meanwhile, there were two East Lothian derbies in the Championship as Longniddry Villa took on Dunbar Athletic and Musselburgh Windsor faced Pencaitland.

Alex Tait scored the only goal in Longniddry for the hosts and Pencaitland were 3-1 winners against Musselburgh Windsor.

Paul Jarvie had opened the scoring for Windsor but goals from Calum McClure and Ramsay Zenati, as well as an own goal, gave Pencaitland all three points.

On Monday, North Berwick were 2-1 winners at Fernieside thanks to a double from Hamish Law.

Garry O'Connor Football Academy lost 9-0 at home to Clermiston while Ryan Colgan and Owen Reid scored as Tranent Foresters won 2-1 against Hunterfield Vale.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Haddington Town were 3-1 winners at Corstophine Timbers.
