DUNBAR United, Ormiston Primrose, Musselburgh Athletic and Tranent Juniors all recorded impressive wins in this week’s football fixtures.

In the Premier Division, Haddington Athletic suffered a 3-0 away defeat to in form Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts.

A brace from Greig Spence and a goal from Callum Murray ensured the hosts continued their perfect start to the campaign with a fourth successive victory.

Dunbar United, Ormiston Primrose and Tranent Juniors were all in action in the Traderadiators Challenge Cup first round.

The Seasiders recorded an impressive 3-2 win as they travelled to Tweedmouth.

Goals from Jordan Hopkinson, Bob Berry and Darren Smith saw Dunbar 3-0 ahead before the hosts pulled two goals back to ensure a nervy finish.

Ormiston Primrose also progressed with a 2-1 home win against Easthouses Lily.

After trailing at half time to a Gary Shearer goal, the Primrose recovered with goals from Jay Murray and Scott Walker to win 2-1.

Tranent Juniors were also victorious in the cup as they overcame Armadale Thistle in Bathgate.

Goals from Euan Bauld and Hamilton Accies loanee Myles Gaffney helped them to a 2-1 away win.

Meanwhile, Musselburgh Athletic won the county derby with Preston Athletic in the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup.

Goals from Craig Stevenson and Russell Cairns either side of a Jamie Devlin equaliser for Preston were enough to see Musselburgh triumph 2-1.
