BUDDING rugby players are being given the chance to strut their stuff at a series of camps this summer.
Five of East Lothian’s rugby clubs have come together with a programme of summer camps where youngsters can give the sport a try.
The first camp is open to P1-7 pupils and takes place at Musselburgh from Monday to next Thursday (July 14).
A training camp for the same age group is held in Haddington from July 25 to 28, with a camp in Dunbar over the same dates. North Berwick hosts a summer camp for P4-S2 from August 1 to 4, while Preston Lodge holds an event for P3-S3 from August 2 to 4. Further details are available on the clubs’ websites.
The clubs aim to grow the game by competing on the field and collaborating off the field.
Preston Lodge host East Lothian Cup Day on August 13.
