NORTH Berwick have been crowned East League Division Two champions after a home win over Corstorphine.
The county club had already secured promotion from the division but wrapped up the title with a 43-20 win.
They came into the Recreation Park clash knowing a win would seal the title while a defeat would open the door to Langholm.
An impressive first half, where North Berwick raced into a 31-8 lead ensured the hosts had one hand on the trophy.
That was confirmed in the second half as the hosts maintained their advantage.
The promotion means they will join Haddington in East League Division One next season.
Ross High, who are also in East League Division One, wrap up their season next weekend (May 14) against Broughton.
The game has been postponed on four occasions and is the final game of the season in that division.
