A GROUP of players from Musselburgh Windsor – one of the oldest youth football clubs in Scotland – were rewarded for their commitment to the club at a ceremony this month.
The event, which was held at Olivebank Stadium, the home of Musselburgh Athletic Football Club, celebrated the achievements of the under-17s, with some receiving awards for 10 and five years’ service.
Johnny Brown, team secretary for the under-17s, said: “This is a remarkable achievement and shows the loyalty and commitment these boys have shown to the club.
"The night was well attended by the rest of the team and their parents.”
