FIVE of East Lothian’s six football teams are on their travels today (Saturday).

Only Ormiston have home advantage as Tranent Juniors, Dunbar United, Musselburgh Athletic, Haddington Athletic and Preston Athletic look for three points on the road.

In the East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL) Premier Division, Tranent are looking to get back to winning ways after a rare slip up against Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts.

Greig Spence’s goal gave the Fife side all three points and stopped Calum Elliot’s men from moving to the top of the table.

The Belters head to West Lothian to face a Blackburn United team who they defeated 5-0 at Foresters Park in August.

Title rivals Penicuik are away from home at Tynecastle.

Meanwhile, Musselburgh Athletic will be looking to continue their impressive recent league form.

The Olivebank men have scored 10 goals in their last four league games and picked up 10 points from a possible 12.

That has seen them move level with third placed Linlithgow Rose in the standings.

Today, they head to Fife to face a Hill of Beath Hawthorn side who have not won at home in the league since the end of August.

However, one of their three league wins did come against Musselburgh.

Finally in the Premier Division, Dunbar United will be looking to put Scottish Cup disappointment behind them as they head for Dundonald Bluebell.

Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale won the cup replay last Saturday and Kevin Haynes and his team head to Fife looking to move up the table.

Dundonald and their visitors are locked together on 19 points but today’s hosts have played three games more than their rivals.

Meanwhile, in First Division Conference A, Haddington are looking to maintain their impressive league form.

They sit top of the pile ahead of Leith Athletic having dropped just two points from a possible 36 this campaign.

Scott Bonar’s men defeated Thornton Hibs last time out and face an immediate rematch as they head for Memorial Park.

Title challengers Leith are at Dalkeith Thistle.

Ormiston have home advantage when they face Arniston Rangers today.

Jack Lynch’s outfit trail the Fife league leaders by four points but do have the benefit of three games in hand.
