MORIYA Jutanugarn will look to follow in her sister’s footsteps and be crowned the Ladies Scottish Open champion this afternoon (Sunday).

The 25-year-old holds a one shot advantage over Jeongeun Lee and Mi Jung Hur at the top of the leaderboard in the competition, which is being played at The Renaissance Club.

Challenging weather conditions have played a part over the first three days, with more rain expected throughout much of this afternoon.

A 67 third round from Jutanugarn put her in first place after the third round and she will tee off at 11.10am alongside Lee and Hur.

Behind the top three are Mi Hyang Lee, who is four shots off the pace, with Carly Booth the highest place Scot in fifth – alongside Moriya’s younger sister Ariya Jutanugarn, who won the competition 12 months ago at nearby Gullane Gullane Golf Club, Chella Choi, Jane Park and Anne van Dam.

North Berwick's Catriona Matthew failed to make the cut but will be keeping an eye on the result ahead of the Solheim Cup, where she will captain Team Europe.
