A GOOD turnout of motorbikes and sidecars is expected for the sixth round of the Scottish Motorcycle Racing Championship at East Fortune Race Circuit this weekend.

Among the strong entry for the packed race programme will be a good quota of participants from East Lothian including Howard Selby, Colvin Denholm, Kenneth Thirlwell, Roddy Hutchison, Stuart Higgins and Graham Patterson.

Most of the front runners in all classes have entered so every race will be hotly contested including Superbikes, Scottish Lightweights, Formula 600, CB500-Post Classics, Pre-Injection 600s, Formula 125 and a large number of sidecars.

Race commentary will be provided by resident experts ex-sidecar racer Ian ‘Mose’ Hutchinson, Ian Robertson and guests.

Bikes will be on the circuit for practice and qualifying from 9am on both days.

Admission is £10 for adults and free for seniors and accompanied under-16s.
