RUGBY ace Tom Brown has been left out of the Edinburgh side to play Connacht in the Guinness Pro14 tomorrow (Friday).
Brown, who was last week making his first competitive appearance for 10 months following a serious hamstring injury, is reported to have picked up a knock and and drops out of the 23-man squad.
He is replaced by Duhan Van Der Merwe, fit again after missing the trip to Belfast.
Brown, from North Berwick, scored his first try for more than a year in the loss to Ulster, and it is not clear now long his latest injury will keep him sidelined.
James Johnstone replaces the injured Mark Bennett for Richard Cockerill's side - the latter having suffered a similar injury to Brown's last weekend, while Hamish Watson returns to the back-row.
