TRANENT bowls star Dee Hoggan is hoping to win the British Isles Ladies’ Singles title in Belfast.
The Tranent Bowling Club ace will compete at Belmont Bowling Club this week, with the talented Garden County star bidding to add the British Isles title to the Scottish championship she won last summer.
Her bid for British title glory starts tomorrow (Friday) when she faces either Jersey or Ireland in a semi-final encounter. The winner will play either Wales or England in the final on Saturday.
Hoggan will be joined by Cockenzie & Port Seton star figure Lauren Baillie in Belfast, as both players are part of the Bowls Scotland Ladies Senior side hoping to win the BWIBC Home International series that is also staged at Belmont BC from Sunday to Tuesday.
