Law Primary School''s badminton team celebrated winning the Mid & East Lothian Primary School Quaich at Meadowmill last week.
Law, Burgh, Dunbar, Longniddry and Kings Meadow Primary Schools all competed in the event last Wednesday, and after some very hard-fought matches, the North Berwick school came out on top with a 100 per cent record.
Second place went to last year’s winners Dunbar Primary, while Longniddry Primary finished in third.
Law Primary will now go forward to represent Mid and East Lothian at the Scottish Schools Gibb Memorial Primary Quaich on February 27 at Wishaw Sports Centre.
Christine Black, East Lothian badminton development officer, was delighted with the competitive spirit amongst the pupils and thanked all those who supported the event throughout last Wednesday afternoon.
