Preston Lodge Rugby Club have been drawn at home in the second round of the BT Cup.

Mark Steedman's side will play National Division 1 outfit Jed-Forest in the second round after overcoming West of Scotland in round one.

Musselburgh are the only other county side left in the competition and they are on the road in round two.

Grant Talac's side will also face higher-league opposition, as they take on Premiership outfit Selkirk in the second round, with the ties to be played on January 30.

The regional league sides - North Berwick, Dunbar and Ross High - play in the BT Edinburgh Shield.

The trio were in round one action at the weekend, with North Berwick beating Dalkeith 37-27, Dunbar thrashing Liberton 86-10 and Ross High losing to Broughton (26-20).

And the two remaining East Lothian sides will now meet in round two, which takes place on October 24.

Elsewhere at the weekend, there were league wins for Musselburgh and Haddington, while there was disappointment for PL, beaten 36-16 by Lasswade.

Talac's Burgh beat Stewart's Melville 37-24 at Stoneyhill, while Haddington came from behind to score four tries in 15 minutes as they beat RHC 31-24.
