A TOWN’S war memorial has been vandalised.
It is thought a crash barrier was thrown at the war memorial on Prestonpans High Street last Friday.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police are investigating following a report of vandalism to the war memorial in Prestonpans. The incident was reported to officers on Friday.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Tranent Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 2033 of January 19.”
