NB Distillery and Fidra Gin aiming for national prizes

A MULTI-AWARD-WINNING distillery could be celebrating once again next month.

NB Distillery, based south of North Berwick, is in the running for prizes at both the Scottish Gin Awards and Scottish Rum Awards.

Winners are crowned on October 7 in Glasgow.

At the Scottish Gin Awards, NB Distillery is a finalist in the London Dry Gin of the Year category and the Distilled Gin of the Year.

Joining it as a finalist in each category is Fidra Gin, which has its roots in Athelstaneford.

Fidra Gin and NB Classic Dry Gin are among the finalists in the London Dry Gin of the Year, while Fidra Gin and NB Distillery - 1832 Summer Gin - Cherry Blossom/Plum/Raspberry/Lime are finalists in the Distilled Gin of the Year category.

Meanwhile, at the Scottish Rum Awards, NB Spiced Rum and NB Barrel Aged Rum are finalists in the Scottish Distilled Rum of the Year category.
