A DUNBAR business has been named on a UK Government list for failing to pay the minimum wage.

Dunbar Pet Food Limited appeared on a list of more than 600 businesses across the UK named for failing to pay staff the National Minimum Wage, with £4 million returned directly to workers.

Government figures show that the company failed to pay £4,254.09 to one worker.

A spokesperson for the business, based on the town’s West Port, said: “She was paid within two days of us being aware she was underpaid.”
