Romanes Pharmacy has been given permission by East Lothian Council to change its shopfront on Dunbar High Street to include a pharmacy dispenser.
The local authority received no complaints about the proposals, which were backed by Dunbar Community Council.
The planning officer’s report noted: “They consider it to be appropriate within the window space of the listed building and within the conservation area, and note that the dispenser will be useful for customer collections outwith the pharmacy's opening hours.”
Planning officers also noted that permission was previously given for a different application but it had not been implemented.
Planning permission was given alongside listed building and advertising consents.
