ROADWORKS are set to take place in Whitecraig, as “essential” water and gas works are needed
Bellway Homes is building new houses in the village and the works, by GTC, are set to get under way on Monday on Whitecraig Road; they are expected to last for about two weeks, subject to weather conditions and operational requirements.
“We would like to inform you that essential water and gas infrastructure will be taking place in the local area, extending to the junction near the primary school,” a letter from the developers stated.
“During this, period residents may experience some temporary closures in affected areas.
"Traffic management measures will be in place to ensure the safety of residents, pedestrians and the workforce.
"Every effort will be made to minimise inconvenience and complete the works as safely and efficient as possible.
“A member of the GTC staff will be on site to assist pedestrians and help ensure safe passage where appropriate.
“We appreciate your patience and understanding while these important improvement works are carried out and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
