Musselburgh Scouts undertake six million charity step challenge

Their first week saw them amass an impressive 1,182,651 steps, equivalent to approximately 440 miles.

The funds generated through this foot-powered feat will be shared between two Musselburgh-based charities, The Hollies and First Steps Nursery.

Organisers say this joint endeavour gives the Scouts a chance to make a significant contribution to their community.

At the time of writing, the Scouts have so far raised 27 per cent of their £800 goal.
