EMERGENCY services are in attendance following reports of a fire at a popular country park near Dunbar.
Fire crews were called to the west side of the Skittery Burn in John Muir Country Park after reports of a blaze in the area earlier today.
The fire is understood to have been close to a section of the John Muir Way.
Emergency services remain at the scene, although the fire has now been brought under control.
A spokesperson for East Lothian Council said: "We would encourage members of the public to stay away from the area affected at the present time."
No suggestion of the cause of the fire or any injuries sustained have been released.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Scottish Ambulance Service and Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
