KIND-HEARTED care home staff have raised nearly £2,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Teams from Muirfield in Gullane and West Lothian’s Kirk Lane Nursing Home took part in the Pretty Muddy 5k.
A spokesperson for the homes, which are part of Randolph Hill Nursing Homes, was delighted to say that £1,935 had been raised – with more donations still to come.
They said: “The photos don’t quite show just how muddy we got during the 5k!
“There were plenty of screams, laughter, teamwork and, best of all — no injuries!
“We’re incredibly proud of our team for taking on the challenge, supporting a fantastic cause, and making so many great memories along the way.”
