A FREE talk looking at John Muir’s life mission is being given in the naturalist’s home town.
Matthew Farrelly, a PhD candidate at the University of Wisconsin, will give the talk at Dunbar Town House on Thursday evening.
The talk, which is supported by Friends of John Muir’s Birthplace, gets under way at 7pm and is free to attend.
Muir, who emigrated to the USA, became a key figure in the formation of the country’s national parks.
