FIREFIGHTERS were called to Tranent yesterday after a van went up in flames.
Emergency services were called at 4.54pm and one fire engine was sent to the scene on Elphinstone Road, near Coronation Court.
Fire crews tackled the fire and left at about 5.45pm.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 4.54pm to reports on a van on fire at Coronation Court, Tranent.
“Operations control mobilised one appliance to the scene.”
