VISITORS to Our Community Kitchen have received information about potential scams.
The group, which meets in Haddington Bowling Club, comes together to enjoy a home-cooked meal while tackling loneliness and social isolation.
Last Thursday, they were joined by Haddington community officer Constable Greg Mill and Dunbar community officer Constable Diane Bath.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “The officers provided information around awareness of common frauds and scams, and how to report these.
“They would like to give their thanks to those who were in attendance and participated.”
