FAMILIES are being invited to celebrate Easter with an egg-citing day of fun at Leuchie this weekend.
The annual Easter egg hunt, held by the national respite charity based at Leuchie House near North Berwick, is set to take place this Saturday, with organisers hoping families can kick-off the school holidays while exploring the historic property's scenic gardens.
Alongside the egg hunt, children can look forward to meeting the Easter Bunny, face painting and taking part in a range of activities designed to keep the little ones entertained.
Organisers say that the event is a chance for families to enjoy time outdoors while supporting Leuchie’s work providing people living with neurological conditions and their loved ones valuable retreats.
Family tickets are priced at £12.50 for up to five people, with proceeds going towards the charity’s services.
Refreshments will also be available on site.
To help visitors enjoy a relaxed experience, there are five timed slots available throughout the day: 10.15am, 11.15am, 12.15pm (a quieter session), 1.15pm and 2.15pm.
Organisers are encouraging families to book early to secure their preferred slot online at leuchie.org.uk/event/easter-egg-hunt
