EAST Lothian will take centre stage on the small screen this evening (Tuesday).
Robson Green, alongside fellow actor Mark Benton, will visit a number of places across the county as part of Robson Green’s Weekend Escapes.
The television programme, now in its fourth series, sees the former Soldier Soldier and Waterloo Road star take the roads less travelled across his favourite parts of the UK, alongside some fellow famous faces.
This evening’s episode, which is also available on BBC iPlayer, is shown at 6.30pm on BBC Two.
According to the BBC: “Actor Mark Benton joins Robson on a Scottish road trip in East Lothian.
“Robson introduces his pal to bird watching in Musselburgh and books them into a cookery school in Longniddry to prepare lobster – where Mark is dazzled by a baked potato!
“The duo stay over in a converted double-decker bus before they attempt a scaled-down Highland games, and welly-tossing antics ensue.”
The duo visit Yarrow Cookery School, as well as Musselburgh Lagoons and The Bus Stop, near Gifford.
