MORE than 180 people attended an open day packed with hands-on activities and family fun.
North Berwick Community Centre welcomed families for a celebration of community life, where children enjoyed story time and crafts.
Young visitors listened to the story Gorilla Loves Vanilla before creating their own ice cream sundaes, planting bulbs and getting creative with playdough.
Guests also met representatives from 11 community groups, including Stay and Play, sports classes, baby massage and playgroup.
Jemma Kerr, from Stay and Play and North Berwick Baby Massage, said: "We were delighted to see such a wonderful turnout.
"It was lovely to watch so many families enjoying the facilities, taking part in activities and connecting with local groups."
Homemade cookies were served and each family left with a goodie bag filled with flyers for local groups, bubbles, wildflower seeds donated by North Berwick in Bloom, and a North Berwick Community Centre colouring sheet with pencils.
The bags also contained everything needed to make playdough together at home, and the centre has since received photos of children’s creations at home.
The open day was designed to showcase the range of activities available at the centre and encourage families to get involved with local groups.
