Volunteers sought to clean Prestonpans beach on Saturday

VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help clean up a beach this weekend.

Prestonpans Beach Clean, a group which regularly cleans the beach at the east of the town, is organising a clean-up on Saturday, 10-11am.

Those wanting to take part are welcome to meet at the boatyard near to the town's Lidl.

Julie-Ann Wright, organiser, said: "It’s a great opportunity for the community of Prestonpans and beyond to come together, take pride in our coastline and show what grassroots action can really do."
