A FARMERS’ market which has brought people into Haddington for more than 20 years has extended its stay.
Stallholders regularly line the town’s Court Street on the last Saturday of each month.
Organisers of Haddington Farmers’ Market had approached East Lothian Council about allowing the market to remain in place for another three years.
The council’s planning department approved the application and noted that the market had operated for 24 years “without public complaint”.
