PARAMEDICS were called out last night (Monday) after reports of a crash on the A1 near Dunbar.
Emergency services were alerted at about 11.25pm after a report of an incident involving an HGV at the Thistly Cross Roundabout.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland told the Courier: “Emergency services attended and the driver, a 50-year-old man, was checked over by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“The road was closed northbound for recovery and fully re-opened around 3.30am on Tuesday, June 18.
“The driver has been charged in connection with a road traffic offence and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
