A rural road was closed - and the emergency services were in attendance - following an incident early in the afternoon, June 10.
Avenue Road, east of Aberlady and north of Myreton Motor Museum, was shut to traffic in both directions.
The Courier was told by one motorist that a tree had fallen but no details have yet been confirmed by Police Scotland.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.48pm on Monday, 10 June, to reports of a fallen tree on a vehicle in Avenue Road, Aberlady.
“Operations control mobilised one fire appliance, firefighters supported partners and ensured the area was safe before leaving the scene."
The road has now been re-opened.
