A youth has been charged following alleged "verbal abuse" on Tranent High Street.
It has been reported that an incident occurred on May 1 around lunchtime.
Police Scotland have comfirmed that a report will be sent to the "relevant authorities".
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 13-year-old male youth has been charged following a report of verbal abuse which happened on High Street, Tranent on Wednesday, 1 May, 2024.
"A report will be sent to the relevant authorities."
On May 1, a vulnerable adult was allegedly verbally abused on Tranent High Street.
