A POPULAR bakery in Musselburgh suffered a break-in on Saturday and police enquiries are ongoing.
Police were called to Greggs on the town's High Street at about 7.40pm on Saturday after the break-in.
Concerns were raised on social media after the incident on Saturday evening.
Irene Tait, chair of Musselburgh and Inveresk Community Council, said that the news was "disappointing" to hear.
Enquiries into the incident are "ongoing", according to police.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.40pm on Saturday, May 18, officers received a report of a break-in and theft at a premises on High Street, Musselburgh.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
