ASPARAGUS, cauliflower, rhubarb and rocket are just some of the fresh produce on offer at Haddington Farmers’ Market on Saturday.

The market, which dates back more than 20 years, features more than 25 stalls on the town’s Court Street, boasting a range of items.

The Plot Thickens offers a variety of plants, while Phantassie’s stall has a selection of produce grown in East Linton.

As the calendar edges towards summer, local pork producer Brand East Fortune will have ribs, burgers, sausages and Boston butts to allow people to make their own pulled pork.

Love Ice Cream will also be on hand with a variety of flavours, while other stallholders offer everything from jam and dog treats to natural soap, gin and gifts.

Haddington Pipe Band will be providing entertainment at the market, which runs from 9am to 1pm.

Representatives of Christian Aid and Haddington Rotary will also be in attendance.

Parking can be found to the rear of nearby John Muir House.
