An East Lothian restaurant has been ranked highly for its fish and chips
AN EAST Lothian restaurant has landed UK top spot for its fish and chips.
East Coast, on Musselburgh’s North High Street, was ranked number one – alongside London’s Fish Lounge – in a list compiled by Betway.
The study, which highlights more than a dozen chippies throughout the UK for people to try, considers analysis from Google, Tripadvisor and Instagram to put together a ranking.
The successful county business describes itself as: “An exciting new venue in Musselburgh which is home to both a modern fish & chip shop and a fresh new seafood & grill restaurant where you can enjoy Scotland’s best produce and warmest hospitality.”
On Tripadvisor, it has more than 200 reviews – with an average rating of 4.5 out of five.
