REPAIRS to the breakwater at Dunbar Harbour will take place over the coming weeks.

Harbour users have been warned to expect that heavy machinery could be in place over the coming weeks.

Rock has been placed on either side of the Victoria Harbour slipway.

Dunbar Harbour Trust, which manages the harbour, noted: “The rock will be moved across the middle, Broadhaven Harbour, during low tides in April and May to repair the breakwater.

"Anyone using the slipway should take care at high water when the rock is not visible.

"Also be aware of heavy construction machinery that may be operating around the slipway at low water.”

Anyone looking to find out more about the work should contact the harbourmaster.
